The Ottawa Senators are looking to find some consistency as they travel to Tampa Bay Thursday night, with the Lightning hoping to break out of their scoring slump of their own. Custom Carolina Panthers Jerseys . The Senators snapped a two-game slide on Tuesday with a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers. They allowed the first two goals of the game, both on Panther power plays, before getting first-period goals from Joe Corvo and Erik Condra to even things up. Colin Greening had the go-ahead goal with 43 seconds remaining in the second period and Bobby Ryan added a third-period tally. Though Ottawa won for just the third time in its past nine games, it was a win that head coach Paul MacLean is hoping his team can build on. "Were showing signs of being consistent," he said. Craig Anderson made 30 saves and Clarke MacArthur had two assists to give him 10 points over his last eight games. The win improved Anderson to just 7-8-2 with a 3.42 goals against average this season, but he is 6-2-2 with a 1.42 GAA and three shutouts lifetime versus the Lightning. The Bolts won two of three versus the Senators last season -- winning both meetings in Tampa -- but the Sens have still won seven of the last 10 encounters overall. The Lightning have been shut out in back-to-back games and in three of their last five. Two of those have come by 1-0 decisions, including Tuesdays setback to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Tampa Bay failed to score against the Blue Jackets Sergei Bobrovsky, who left with 15:47 to play in the game, or Curtis McElhinney. The duo combined to stop 26 shots. "If youre not frustrated, something is wrong with you right now," said Martin St. Louis, who was robbed by McElhinney on a late chance. The Lightning have lost six of their last eight games overall and five in a row on the road. They are 4-5-1 since star center Steven Stamkos broke his leg. Tampa Bay, which was coming off a 3-0 loss at home to Pittsburgh last Friday, has not scored since Tyler Johnsons empty-net tally with 34 seconds left in a 4-2 win over Philadelphia last Friday. It has not scored against an opposing netminder since Victor Hedmans tally five minutes into the third period versus the Flyers. "If its not off the rush, were done," St. Louis said. "We have to be able to sustain offensive pressure." Ben Bishop made 20 saves versus the Blue Jackets and could face his former club tonight. Bishops only other meeting versus the Senators came on April 9 of last season, six days after he was traded to the Lightning by Ottawa for Cory Conacher and a draft pick. Bishop stopped 31-of-33 shots faced in the win. Julius Peppers Jersey . -- Los Angeles Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton will be sidelined for at least two weeks because of a strained calf muscle, and pitcher C. Michael Palardy Jersey .Y. - Urijah Faber walked out on a Madison Square Garden stage in a Wes Welker jersey, the UFCs fun nod to that other "super" show this weekend. . The Raptors maintained their spot atop the Atlantic Friday after defeating the Wizards, 96-88, for their second win in a row. KAMLOOPS, B.C. -- Within the span of a minute or two, Saskatchewan was out and Quebec was in the playoffs at the Canadian mens curling championship, and only partly because of Jean-Michel Menards 7-5 upset win over Kevin Koe of Alberta. Even with Quebecs victory, Saskatchewan skip Steve Laycock was up one with the hammer and had an open draw against three to beat New Brunswick and force Menard into a tiebreaker. Laycock was heavy with the final stone and it proved costly. "We knew that we had to win," said Laycock. "We knew it was in our control to try and get in that tiebreaker and just didnt finish that game out, a really poor last end." A complicated formula based on draws to the button was used to determine the seedings of the top three rinks. Saskatchewan finished at 6-5, tied with Newfoundland and Labradors Brad Gushue and New Brunswicks Jamie Grattan. Had Menard lost, there could have been a four-way tie for fourth place and a round of afternoon tiebreakers. Instead hell now get to play Manitobas Jeff Stoughton on Saturday in the 3-4 Page playoff game. Manitoba, Alberta and B.C.s John Morris all finished at 9-2. Menard, the 2006 champion whos making his fifth Brier appearance for Quebec, was 7-4 although he beat each of the top three teams in the round robin. "Our goal was to make it to the playoffs and there you never know whats going to haappen . Curtis Samuel Jersey. ... if theres still some magic in our bag well try to use it," he said. Menard seemed in control throughout the game and got a boost with a three-point end in the fifth. Koe, who was solid all week, finished with a 76 per cent rating and his teammates struggled as well. Koe insisted he wasnt worried the same thing will happen when he faces Morris in the 1-2 Page playoff on Friday evening. "That end we gave up three was bad luck," said Koe. "I threw mine good, we had lots of options. You can hit about a millimetre where it just didnt work out for us and thats what happened for us. So thats just a bad break. Other than that were throwing it good so Im not really worried." Laycock was making his fourth appearance at the Tim Hortons Brier although this was the first time he threw fourth stones and served as skip. He was even with Grattan through seven, until a big three in the eighth end gave him a healthy lead. Grattan responded with a deuce in the ninth before taking the win, which left Laycock visibly upset afterwards. Prince Edward Islands Eddie MacKenzie (4- finished the round robin with an 11-7 win over Jamie Koe of Northwest Territories/Yukon (3-. Ontarios Greg Balsdon (5- capped his Brier debut with a 9-6 win over Jamie Murphys winless Nova Scotia team (0-1. Northern Ontario was also well back at 2-9.
